This policy describes the limited information BrandBeaconer processes to operate the site, secure administration and measure outbound affiliate activity.

Information we process
Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, browser information, requested page and timestamps for delivery and security. When a visitor uses a tracked price button, we record the product, placement, destination host, time, country header when available, browser user-agent and referring BrandBeaconer path. We do not create a public user profile from these events.
Administration data
The private content manager uses a secure session cookie after an authorized administrator or editor signs in. Public visitors do not need an account. Administrative actions may be recorded in an audit log for security and editorial accountability.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver and protect the site, maintain editorial records, diagnose errors, understand which product placements are useful and prevent abuse. We do not sell a public visitor database.
Service providers and outbound sites
The site uses infrastructure providers for hosting, database storage, search and media delivery. These may include Vercel, Supabase, Meilisearch and Cloudflare R2. After you follow an affiliate link, the affiliate network and destination merchant process information under their own policies.
Retention and security
Operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations and security. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may avoid affiliate tracking by not using price-check buttons and navigating to a retailer independently. Privacy rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion or objection. Requests should identify the relevant page and approximate date without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
