Cookie policy
BrandBeaconer currently uses a narrowly scoped cookie for private content-manager sessions. Public affiliate click measurement is performed server-side without creating a BrandBeaconer tracking cookie.

Strictly necessary administration cookie
The bb_admin cookie keeps an authorized administrator or editor signed in to the private content manager. It is HTTP-only, uses a same-site setting and is sent over secure connections in production. It is not used to advertise to public visitors.
Public visitors
Browsing public pages does not require a BrandBeaconer account. Our outbound click counter records an event on the server when a tracked price button is used; it does not set a BrandBeaconer affiliate-tracking cookie in the visitor's browser.
Third-party sites
Affiliate networks, Amazon and other merchants may use their own cookies after you follow an external link. Those cookies are controlled by the third party and governed by its policy. You can navigate to a merchant independently or use browser controls to limit cookies.
Changes to cookie use
If BrandBeaconer later adds non-essential analytics, advertising or personalization cookies, this page and any required consent controls should be updated before those tools are enabled.
